Due to the wreckage caused by the tsunami, there are many families in Tohoku today who are struggling from the absence of after school childcare facilities and cram schools.

As Sola, we are supporting these families by providing supplementary education and childcare for the children in cooperation with the related schools and boards of education in Ishinomaki City and Minamisanriku Town.

We are also accommodating volunteer staff so they can reside in the area where they teach and look after the children, and we continue with our activities through various networks of students and people with eligible teaching license or experience.
